Space

This is my choice for an ambiguous drawing. It has both two
dimensional, and three dimensional figures in the picture.

This is my example of a Flat painting.

This is my example of an illusionist painting. The Horses are a part
of the wave, and look as if they are jumping out of the painting as well.

My Ideal Picture

This picture is "Flowers for Mom", By Tim Cox.

I am a native of Arizona, and have always been drawn to Tim Cox's work, and in doing a little research for what my ideal drawing is, I learned that he was actually born in the same town as I was, and grew up just an hour from my hometown. The reason's I have always been drawn to his work is because of the subject and use of color. I like the use of realism in his work and the fact that the pictures depict events that have happened or could happen. His use of color and texture draw me into the picture and take me to a familiar place, with horses, cowboys, big skies, and wild grasses.

Drawing Myself

I have taken many art classes both in high school and college, and this is the very first time that I have ever had to do a self portrait. I have to say it was a rather daunting task. I am not very good with faces, or not very confident in my abilities to draw faces. I am a little nervous to share my work, because of the mentioned reasons. However, I would like to grow, learn and pass this class, so I will do as I am asked nervous or not. A Beautiful face will soon be arriving, once I have stopped messing with the details. Good-bye for now.
