This picture is "Flowers for Mom", By Tim Cox.
I am a native of Arizona, and have always been drawn to Tim Cox's work, and in doing a little research for what my ideal drawing is, I learned that he was actually born in the same town as I was, and grew up just an hour from my hometown. 
The reason's I have always been drawn to his work is because of the subject and use of color. I like the use of realism in his work and the fact that the pictures depict events that have happened or could happen. His use of color and texture draw me into the picture and take me to a familiar place, with horses, cowboys, big skies, and wild grasses.
